I LOVE Paper Piecing

I want to share my Houses quilt that I am in the process of making.  I found the design by Johanna Masko while browsing Pinterest (gotta love Pinterest) and knew I had to make it.  This was my first paper piecing quilt and I have decided I love paper piecing about as much as I love houses.  I ran out of background fabric, Robert Kaufman's Quilter's Linen in Beige, that I purchased from Birch Fabrics in Paso Robles while visiting family, so I'm waiting for an order from Fabricworm (Birch Fabrics online store) of more RK QL so I can add an inch or so border around the quilt and then bind.  Not sure what backing fabric I'll use yet, but I'm hoping to find the perfect large scale floral.

And here it is pieced together waiting for the binding.

Other projects that I'm working include the Wishes Quilt Along:

And I just purchased a mess load of Denyse Schmidt fabric and now I'm decided what quilt design to make with them.  Maybe Steam Punk by Jen Kingwell.

To all the mothers out there, I hope you are having a perfect day!  Enjoy!
